自03/26/2007 練自發功的功效 (2010/1)
1. 失眠 – 痛苦了一年後,當天馬上治癒,還可喝茶喝咖啡。
2. 疑似乳房硬塊 – 練功中發現的,約一個月後不見了。
3. 鼻子過敏 – 整年性的十五年的老毛病,2008 好些。2009又不太好了
4. 筋骨痠痛 – 進步 >60% (2008). >70% (2009)
5. 右腳小兒麻痺症 – 走起路來較有力,脊椎側彎進步(醫生根據兩年的x-ray 說的) 。
6. 腳因溯溪跳水斷了,靠自發功進行復健 (from 2008/9)。鐵架已取出,聽說走起來比斷腿前好些。
6. 臉部、腳皮膚 - 較光亮。
7. 頭痛、老花眼、白髮 – 治療中。好久沒戴老花眼鏡了。

I started the practice from March 26, 2007 after reading 氣功養生治病 lent from a friend. Started right after reading the 序 and 附錄. It's really amazing. I started the movement in less than a minute. Due to some family matter, I get to have many days off from work and thus practice quite hard.. Practiced for three to four hours a night in the beginning. I am having more time to practice these days also in this long break. I've experienced 自然收功, some yoga gestures and have surprises every time. Mainly doing it in the yard or indoor on the floor.

Practiced again last night and this morning. Both ended up with 自然收功. I am glad.

I am always on the floor. It's easy but not that exciting. Maybe this is what it meant to be due to my polio. Looks like I don't need to go through the circulation and running stage. Quite generous.

I do have lots of problems with the body. I am always wondering what it is trying to cure now and am always amazed about the approach it drives. I can't help giving a smile for praise afterwards. I am doing difficult yoga actions as I am in the yoga class so that I know. But the way it drives is for my personal needs.

It started working on my right foot. I know some actions is impossible for me without the help from the support of "Qi"氣. The feeling of regain the strength is just great. I did it in the yard and was too late in the morning. Looks like it doesn't like sunlight. My hands always try to block the sun light during practice so I keep changing the location.

I would also like to share one experience with all. During the first days of practice, my hands were circulating around the breast. I sensed something might be wrong. It then stopped on one spot.. some kind of lump. Is it a breast cancer? It then tried to cure by 拍打, punch with finger, warm with palm, etc. for a long time for many days. I went to see the doctor and could not find anything wrong. The curing process is still on going, off and on, but with only 5, 10 minutes. I am not sure if the lump is getting smaller. Maybe. I am glad the 自發功 can detect the early disease if it is there and cure it before it can even be detected from the advanced instrument. This is a big relief from afraid of dying from cancer.

After reading Dr. Lin's book. I tried to practice close to the dragon eye tree trunk this morning. There are some orchid planted around the tree trunk, however, the Qi 氣 was able to bring my head to the right place and stuck my head on the trunk. I do feel the Qi flowing through my feet. Some gentle movement was done after the head was allowed to move away. I started to have some funny facial movement. I am glad no one saw me and since I saw the picture on the book before, so I am not too surprised about this new action. Still a little bit scary though. With all of these improvement in the practice, my allergy is still very bad. I am having very bad nose allergy problem and had to take the medicine to feel better. Sure wish it can be cured gradually.

I stood by the tree trunk again in the late afternoon. However, I was sitting next to the tee trunk and started the meditation 靜坐. Then the massage of head on the trunk.

The amazing thing is we don't need to remember any actions but just follow the Qi. It's simple and it's better than any other practices I've learned before as I believe the wisdom system is leading me. I still find it fascinating. Incredible!!

Morning: 1 hr. in the yard. On the lawn most of the time
It was funny to watch my sister in law walking backwards. She only stays with us for a few days and I am trying very hard to ask her practicing with me. I intentionally left the 自發功 book on the table before I went to work. She did read it and I hope she will continue practicing after she goes back home.

I stood under the tree again but I ended up lieing on the floor again. I am jealous to see my sister in law to be able to walk backwards. It worked on my nose and bladder. Sure hope the problems will go away.

I told the spirit that I have only one hour and it did the 收工 at the right time.

Evening: 2 hours in bedroom. On the floor most of the time
I am having bad backache problem. It finally works on it. It's quite painful to use the left hand to reach the right 肩甲骨穴道. I got very tired and gave up. It's hard to believe how the body can adjust the position to reach the point it wants. I was lieing on the right side and my left leg lifted up but bent the leg and doing the movement parallel to the floor. My body is then moving with it. By doing this, it massages the 穴道 just right. It hurts.

Need to mention the continuous rubbing of the two last fingers of my right hand for many days has made the gout 痛風 problem improved a lot. During the curing process it hurts a lot. But will give time to wipe the tears away. :-D

Practice twice a day continuously.

Shared the experience with one colleague and hope she will practice. She is a Christian and I know most of the Christians are opposed to it and will think this is some kind of connection with the ghost. I just told her how much it has helped improving my health in this short period of time. I also need to read more of Dr. Lin's books.

Two hours in the bedroom floor in the evening and mostly laying on the floor:

I was very tired and moved to the pillow to rest for about half an hour. I was curious since the pillow was one the floor and right on the edge of the bed and the Qi ususally keeps me from bumping into anything during the movement. But this time I moved right next to the edge and was able to find a perfect position to rest. I was then doing a continuous yoga type dancing (lay on the floor) of bending, stretching and turing 翻轉the body. Again the space is not big but I was able to move around without bumping into anything with my eyes closed. Hope I was dancing with standing position. I love dancing. ;-)

It looks like my backpain has improved some.

One interesting action:
I always try to practice in the shade and have the cloth sheet ready if I need to lay down. As usual, I was laying on the lawn very quickly after starting and enjoy the nice breeze as I practiced. The sun was out. It was a beautiful morning. My body started moving on my back.. Sliding few inches a time with the help of both feet. I moved around 300 cm on my back to be under the sun and both hands started the 採氣 action.

Went visit some old colleagues in Chia-Yi. Used this chance to introduce to many good friends about this self developed gong. It is true that the most important thing of people at around 50 is health and I found this to be the best present for friends. I gave my three books to a very good friend and wish he can start practicing right away. Came back and ordered the books for myself again.

April 15 - 5 hours total in three sections
I finally talked my mother in law into practicing with me today twice. She is 89 and with quite serious hunchback problem. The only action in her is standing with slight movement back and forth. But it is very obvious that she was able to straighten the back to some extent. Too bad that she won't take more than half and hour since she is worried this might break her bone. This will be the best testimony for thsi gong If it can help her with the hunchback.

Started working on the eyes by putting the palms on it and it hurts. Some very difficult yoga actions and it hurts the bones,too.

I had bad headache after the continous two afternoon extensive meetings. Had to practice the Gong all night and in the morning to get rid of it. It's mainly prssuring on the 穴道 around the eyes. I know where to press on now if I sense the headache is coming in the future. This is another benifit from this gong. You can learn a lot from the practicing, but some of the difficult yoga action with the support from Qi can never be repeated during non-Qi status.

Turned the Buddhism music on as some of the people written in their diary. Found my actions are with the same temple as it goes on. The movement became more freely after the music stops. I think I will turn it on only when I feel like dancing. I'll try other musics, too. :pigdance

Guess what? 我終於旋轉了!
Can't believe I am finally turning this evening. I told myself that I don't want to lay down. After some usual body bending on all directions, I started to turn slowly, then quite fast. I used the technique of using one foot as standing point and let the other leg to turn around it and was able to pass this stage with no problem! After the spinning, it's quite good to lay on the floor again.

My mother in law told me she practiced two hours today, both indoors and outdoors. She is the kind of person like me, quite persisent in doing things.

Had some facial movement when I was reading the diary in the internet. I also tried to be in the Qi status when I slept last night. It worked. Time to sleep.. very sleepy now.

我真的在轉了!

My body never felt so good before.

I sensed that I started walking backwards while I was practicing in the home library last night. Went out to the lawn right away and yes, I was walking backwards. The pace was ok with me and will turn around automatically when I was goingto bump into something. I was then led to the east side of the house and started spinning 旋轉. Boy, I must have spinned more than one hour and it went so fast that I felt down four times. I knew I had to get up and kept going so I did and was dizzy most of the time. I was finally allowed to lay on the lawn for the big rest and looked at the stars, what a treat! The mosquito bites was not as important at that time. Went back to the house and my husband asked where I went, I was all sweating.. Took a shower and read the spinning section of Dr. Lin's book, hey, I passed the first stage and the Qi is somehow flowing better through the spine part and the future curing will be even better. I gave myself a big applaud.

I wasn't sure if I will keep on spinning this morning. I didn't, only did some very nice relaxing yoga actions in the nice morning breeze under the tree. Never felt this good before. No headache, no backache, a totally refreshed woman. This is a big step forward for me. :pigdance :pigdance :pigdance

打太極拳了!
This is a wonderful feeling to be able to practice the Tai Gi by the flow of Qi. I tried to feel where the Qi was going to brought me to by doing it very slow and concentrate. This is complete different from what I used to do before while doing it with my own will. This is such an easy way to feel the Qi and is sure that the Qi is flowing through the body.

I introduced it to the choir member last night after the choral rehearsal. So far only my mother-in-law believes in me and doing it. Can't wait to tell more people to enjoy the experience.

Company Trip - three days

I was able to keep my practicing during these three days and read the book in the bus. There was no sign of tiring the second day.

I am trying very hard not to stop the practicing. Fortunately, I was able to get a room by myself the first night. The space was not big, but I was able to move on the very limited space in the hotel. I found it too hard on myself and moved to bed instead, but fell down once. Anyways, the pain from the bicycle ride went away.

Instead of strolling in Hualien city for shopping at night, I walked to the sculpture park nearby. It was a surprise since I didn't know the hotel is so close to the big park. A big lawn, many trees and with many marbel sculptures. Well, I was laying on my back again. Kind of disappointed since this was the first chance to be in such a good practicing place. After the automatic closing section, I tried to let the Qi to lead me. Interestingly, I was led by circulating to different trees and stopped in one. I moved my head, hands, leg to have more contact with the tree. It was mentioned in the book that the stone also got Qi. I then moved to a round man shaped bending forward sculpture, very smooth and half of my height. It's like a magnet and cool. All the colleagues were waiting for the elevator when I got back to the hotel. Tehy just came back from the shopping. I stayed too long in the park. One asked why I got grass on my back? Did you lay on the grass?
Well, I was all refreshed the third day.

I also practiced the gong in the bus. I would stop if some strange actions came up. Fortunately, I behaved good. Only moved the hands and some facial movement. Mostely have ten fingures touching together and also continue the curing of the two fingers with gout problem. The practice did make the bus riding much pleasant and less feeling of the diziness.

Tried to show people the book I read on this trip. Hope some will try it. So far only my mother in law is doing it and she loves it. The only action she has is standing and with minor leaning back and forth, right and left. But you should see the progress in her hunchback.

I am having some dizziness and the mind was never quite clear these days. Read Dr. Lin’s book and said this might happen during the work on 旋轉輪 stage.

I thought the spinning was over, but it didn’t. It happened again when I practiced on the bedroom floor last night. I found it much easier to do it on the floor than on the lawn since the resistance 阻力 is smaller and I was able to catch the speed. In fact I had my eyes opened most of the time to make sure I won’t bump into anything. The spinning was quite fast but I had good enough technique not to feel dizzy and sometimes feel like flying. I was so tired afterwards and was slept on the floor for more than one hour.

Practiced in the yard this morning. I have only 40 minutes time. Instead of lying on the ground, I was walking all the time. Walking forward, backwards, making big circle, small circle. I picked the Jasmine during walking and held it in the hand. I was asked to put it next to the front door after a while. Picked a rubber band and was stopped in front of the trash can.. it’s so funny. Kept looking back at the Passion fruit百香果 and was drawn to stand right in front of it to have a good look, then started the action again. I was then moved back to pick the Jasmine.. Had to force to stop today cause I was out of time.

It looks like the mind is clearer now. Hope it lasts.

It was a great trip with lots of snorkeling and laughing, but I did not have chance to exercise during these two days. No good sleep for two consecutive days neither. The long ride back on the bus had made the headache on the right side built up quite bad. The major healing process is to cure the headache for three days now. It’s either pressing the eyeball or the pressure point around the eye or the right forehead. Sometimes it hurt so bad that I cried, the curing will then slow down a little bit. But after the practice, I have no problem at work. Instead of using so much energy to fix the problem, I should be careful during play or work of not pressing the body too hard or all I am doing is to fix the problem created in the daytime.

It’s been many times that I am doing the 隔空運氣 on the body. Looks like a curing process also. After the automatic closing action, the foot massage is becoming a routine. The strength on my right leg is improved, I think. The improvement also includes the skin on face, skin on leg, the white hair, etc. Not bad.

I sensed I was going to walk backwards last night and it was full moon, so decided to go out to the yard. A continuous walking backwards, forward, circulating with small circles, big circles for more than two hours. During the walking, I kept on walking to the steel fence and stuck my body on to it. I had to move around soon due to the mosquitos. I also experienced the first drunken man walking. It's a very funny feeling. It already passed midnight when I finally got to quit.

I read the book again and knew the long walk last night is curing my leg problem. This is very encouraging.

Only did a short practice this morning, I intentionall asked to rub my hair during the ending part. It will be really great if I don't show so many white hairs.

Talked to a friend yesterday. He is suffering from a disease and hope he will practice longer and see some improvement.

Practiced two hours in the morning.

It rained quite hard this morning. I was able to go out into the yard during the break. Walked around the yard again, forward, backwards, making big circles, small circles and also walked like a drunk man. I like this part. I leaned againt the little steel gate and steel door again. Need to check the book about the steel effect. I know the rock is good but have no idea about the steel. I opened the gate on purpose and after a while, walked into the parking area outside. I was drawn to 紅竹, it can be used to cure the coughing. I am going to plant more around the house.

After more walking, I sat on the porch and tried very hard to adjust both legs to get into the meditation posture. I know I have problem but just let the Qi bring me to whatever desired. It finally found out one way to get me into 雙盤 but I was sitting on a hard cement surface and it hurts. I didn't really want to stop because I started some beautiful dancing like gestures and with the light rain outside and peaceful mind with 雙盤, it's just great. I had to stop not before long since my leg hurt. I'll try to bring a mattress if I start the mediation again.

Really hope the whole world knows about this to improve the health. With the long life now, people either die of cancer or some chronic disease. I don't like either of this. I don't want to live long, but when I am alive, I want to be healthy. I am kind of finding this to be able to achieve the goal if I practice hard. This can also help finding the early sympton of cancer and start curing it. I believe this has happened to me.

I'll do my best to introduce this good news to as many people as possible. ;-)

Still walk in the yard these days. It will last for around one hour. I have enough confidence to close my eyes most of the time and if I do so, the movement do get faster. My favorite action is drunken men walk. haha.

I live in the country side and with around 200坪 lawn, so it is quite convenient to practice there. If I sensed I am going to start walking, I'll go outside. With this big movement, I won't be afraid of mosquitos. I walked to the gate again and opened the gate and walked to 紅竹 directly, after few circles, walked back into the yard and I was kind of asked to close the gate.. I gave it a big laugh.. this whole action was repeated again. I do believe this is a very good plant for me. Used the hoe 鋤頭 to dig some out and planted it in front of the bed room this afternoon. I walked to that direction on purpose tonight and my nose was drawn to close to the leave and sniff. I think it is better to have the plant in the yard. If I do it outside, people might think I am crazy. But if someone gets really curious, I'll ask them to join. I also planted the bush in a small pot and will bring it to the office tomorrow.

Walked into the room when I sensed I was going to lie down. I was almost thrown onto the floor and then enjoy a big rest. The movement became very slow. Then I found my hands were moving with a very elegant way, like dancing. Sometimes with gentle touch on the face and body. Some facial movement, then the teeth. I found the teeth is making some rhythm and boy, I was singing the 追夢人 in my mind. The rhythm of my teeth is exactly the same as the song and my hands are dacing with it..lovely! Felt the extreme peace afterwards.

My third sister in law came visiting us and when she found out my mother -in-law's progres with her hunchback, she tried to practice. But she didn't get anything started. I ran back to the room and looked into the book to see if there is anyway to help her started. She didn't really started but with some very light moving for a few times. Hope she'll continue. I will leave some books on the table for her to look at. My husband and my son (he is now in the military) are kind of teasing me every time when they see me practicing. My husband won't stop me but he is surprised that I am so attached to this new hobby.

The outcome of planting the 紅竹 in the garden is significant. I am always drawn to the south corner in the morning. It's amazing that I can find the very small seat on the corner. Sitting there, I can smell the new plant and lean on the gravel 碎石 wall and be away from the sun. The body stretching in that small place is incredible. The sore neck is my year long problem and over here, I am stretching it, along with the back so well. Then turn my head up and touch the center pressure point of head on the wall. The hard sniffing on the leaf takes place once in a while. I’ll sniff so hard that sometimes I am out of breath. This exercise will bring me so much refreshed body into work.

Other than that, I am mainly doing the walking, spinning at night. It spinned quite hard sometimes and made me dizzy. I dont like to lie on the lawn at night and when I sensed I am going to lie down, I'll move toward the room and was almost thrown onto the floor then with a big rest.

It looks like my diary grade is promoted from "just popping in" to "not too shy to talk" now. Haha..good way of encouragement.

I often wonder if people will think why I should write in English. The Chinese typing is really a big problem for me. I will have to spend five more times, may be ten, to finish the same and that will stop me from keep on writing. But if we look at it from the other angle, I am sure this very oriental "Qi" kind of exercise is not easy to be found in western world. My diary might give some English speaking people some encouragement. It is hard to describe some of the actions in English, sometimes even in Chinese. I am kind of skipping that part. But if anyone reading it and find some help and find it interesting, please leave a note. I put my diary here is the section where people can comment, but so far, I am the only one to give the comment. ;-)

Practiced for two hours this morning. I was drawn to the corner again and was put on the little seat of the wall almost right on the spot. Lots of stretching on the waste, on the neck and the touch of the pressure point of head 百會穴on the wall. I tried to concentrate more, but my mind keep humming the melody which we practiced th choir last night. But, it was a good exercise. Feel so good. Really, didn't feel this good for years.

Gonna drive for two hours to see my mom in Nantou now.

What a surprise, I finally got one response.. Thanks.
Well, both. When I try to relax more, I close my eyes. I found it much easier to spin on the floor indoors than on the lawn outside due to less friction. At that time, I can close my eyes and feel like flying but need to open my eyes once in a while before bumping into something. I am doing more spinning outside now, it's harder to spin. I open my eyes when it goes too fast and I get nervous. But it will be less dizzy if I close my eyes and try to relax. Guess I am doing ok now.
