I am having some skin allergy on the wrist area due to wearing the 水母衣 for swimming these weeks. Tried not to take the medicine and concentrate on the practice. The action is like the following: grab the elbow down to the hands with the other hand many many times... and it works quite well. It's almost cured now.

Lots of walking with big circles and some good bendings to the right or left and lifting the shoulders while practice outside.

Went to Spain for a meeting and travelling with my husband.. guess what? We missed the plane coming back due to looking at the time wrong. Called the agency and the reply was all the planes to fly from Europe to Hong Kong for the following 5 days were all booked. We went to the airport and got the pass for a standby fly for the next day and prepard to try the luck.

I used the method of asking the spirit by shaking or nodding the head. The answer was positive every time. We went to the airport again, flew from Spain for German and started the waiting. The plane from Spain to German was delayed for one hour due to the big rain in Frankfort, German.. this might bring us some luck.. we thought. There were five hours waiting before the plane will start from Frankfurt. We were one hour late, and that was ok. We got to the check desk the first.. the clerk was not even there yet.. waited and waited until they showed up, said we need to wait until 30 mintues before the taking off.. I asked the questions to the spirit again.. it's a yes... 15 mintues before the taking off.. still an unknown from the desk..asked again.. a "yes".. but we were really afraid if there were no any seats, where were we going to stay and how many days to go? 10 minutes before taking off.. we were called and were allowed to board. Thank god.. The rain saved us. Some people from Portugese were delayed due to the big rain and were not able to catch this flight. There were only 3, 4 seats left in this giant Boeing 747.

Other than asking the questions and was amazed of the accuracy of the outcome, of course the practice of self development gong was the one for recovery and kept my energy going. But, it's good to be home.

It's been a year from the accident and the bone is fully recovered. As planned, I went to the hospital to get the plate and nails out from the bone. After hospitalized for two days.. got home and rested for few more days.

When I practice, I don't need to worry if some actions will hurt the big wounded area from operation. Even I am still using the crutches to help walking, I still start the practice from standing postion. Massaged the leg a lot one night.. when I lay on the floor, I can slightly feel the flow through the leg. I was standing outside in the yard this morning.. the effect of the slight bending to the left on the waist, neck was more effective than the yoga I learned before.. then sat down for meditation for a while.. worked a little on my left pinky.. minor gout 痛風 there. Interesting thing is the gout is moving around. switched from one finger to another these months.

Conclusion: I am blessed to have the chance to learn this self developed gong.. There is nothing better than this.. nothing. We are all blessed.

Got five bee stings on the fingers while cleaning the yard. It’s baby bees. I must have touched their nest. I didn’t know it was from the bees, until the second day, the fingers were all swollen. Woke up in the middle of night and found I am curing myself by rubbing with all kinds of techniques. I knew it’s the self developed gong working and was happy about it. It did helped a lot the next day.

The rehabilitation after拔釘is also on going. The bladder problem came back and the muscle weakened. I am practicing especially hard these days.. mornings and nights. I can get rid of the crutches now and the massage on the leg has helped with the muscle strength and bruise recovery. Look forward to the full recovery.

The winter sun in southern Taiwan is quite comfortable. The sun came out in the early mornings I practiced a lot during the weekend.

The back pain is bothering me for quite a while. Recently often utilize the sharp angles on the 方形柱子 to rub the back. 又撞又摩的 好舒服. Had small time of meditation and massaging the leg with hands in between.

The routine recently :
Walk around the yard for a while, standing or sitting against the pillar, massage the back. This morning was mainly the spine area. Felt unusally good afterwards.

It's been quite a while since I have a long practice.
Encouraged by the many people says they are going to practice hard during this long break.. I followed.

The sun finally came out and feels so good. The squeezing of the pinky on the left hand always hurt a lot. It's not like the stretching of the back, it hurts. There was big bending and some pinching, scratching on the sole of the right leg. I know it's very good for the semi-paralyzed part. Wonder what the scene will be like if all family members are practicing.

One does need to spend lots of time for whatever you want to achieve. Sometimes there is delimma about if you want to continue in this way especially when you are by yourself. The encouragement from others is important. :)

Went hiking for the first two days of year 2010. We were walking on the pebbles by Kending eastern shore. There was nothing but pebbles. The power of nature is incredible. All the rocks turn into pebbles. It's pretty but so hard to walk on. Unlike before, I decided not to put too much pressure on my foot since the right angle already twisted few times. I just recovered and don't want to hurt it again.

Walked back to the parking lot and decided to hike the 旭海大草原 while waiting for the group. I did it by myself. Try not to think of being alone but concentrate with the hiking and leave the mind blank. Other than the great view on the high point, the endless trees, the coast line, plus the calmness in heart makes it the best experience in these two days.

Sunday:
Read some people's diary and really calm myself down again. Practiced few times today. The sun came out and very warm. My 91 year old mother-in-law came to me and said she doesn't feel good. I measured the pressure for her, it's only a little bit high. We went outside and start practicing together. She felt better after about half an hour. All she did was standing there and did not hunch her back. :)

Having serious nose allergy problem every time during the weather change.

I tried not to take the pill and even brought a hair dryer to the office. Tried to use the hot air to blow the nose many times. Still sneeze a lot and used all the tissues, plus sore back. Finally gave up and took the pill again.

Guess I need to practice harder and there is always hope in the future. :-D Help!!

Hi Sharon,
What you really need other than ChiGong Healing power is some Nutrients in high dose. Cuz you have very weak imune system at all. Anti-oxydents will help.

還是別吃西藥,西藥大多只是症狀抑制劑,根本沒有治療效果,只會讓病情更嚴重,流鼻水有可能是裡寒,還是有中藥可以治療的,找中醫就可以處理了,有時候該流鼻水還是要讓他流出來,用抑制劑把它壓在裡面,更糟糕。

西醫所謂的免疫系統,只是一套不完整的概念,如果真的所謂的免疫系統是正確的概念,那為何氣功可以治病?

應該多了解中醫,中醫就是基於氣功內証所發展出來的一套醫學,不像西醫,只相信眼睛看得到的,不相信身體的感覺、天地的靈氣之存在。

有些字我是看不太懂啦,不過如果指的現在流行的營養食品,就中醫的觀點還是不好,經過西藥廠種種提煉方法所製作出來的純陰物質,難以被身體吸收轉化,反而容易變成毒素累積在體內,最好還是天然的食物,才能被轉化為身體能使用的能量。

你這術語太難了,看不懂。不過我同意吃有機的食物是比較好的,有機的食物不使用化肥,整個成分營養就是不一樣,氣也會不一樣。

So many people writing the diary now. Always being pushed out of the main page. This is really good. There are always many people viewing the website also.

As mentioned in other topic. I use the hair dryer to blow my nose and it works very well for the first day. I feel so good of not sneezing all the long. My mind is clearer, too.

Learned a lot from the gathering with so many experienced friends. I especially like to watch the elegance of Hyjan's movement. It's interesting to watch the interactive movement between two people, too. Instead of practicing, I spent lots of time WATCHING.

Thanks to the suggestions from the weekend reunion. I was always wondering if it is ok to start practicing right after the meal. I do this quite often right after lunch. People think it’s alright as qui gong can also help you with the digestion.

Used the hairdryer to blow the nose and the usually pain spots on the shoulders while I was sitting on the office floor right after lunch. I have the office door shut but people might still be wondering about the unusual noise. I got greedy and tried to warm up many places, nose, shoulder, back, head… When I finally got up and walked out, phew.. feel like a brand new person.

Just after less than an hour, the sore already accumulating. Need to do it in great patience and keep it going!!
