Practiced in the bedroom and had big actions while lying on the floor. Don't remember the detail, but kept on moving, turning, bending my leg, sitting then bend down real hard, contrast the muscle, even on the back.. some big rubbing of the nose. then eye, mouth movement, I even got a little bit scared, hope to keep the breathing going.

Took a shower and had a good night sleep.

Can't go swimming these days, so I used this chance to practice harder in the morning.

Walked around the yard for a while, banging the body with fist, shoulder, back, chest, stomach... then sat down for a while for meditation. Started to scratch the head with fingers real hard, just like combing the hair. The head is kind of swelling but felt good afterwards. Then worked on the right leg with fingers again. Ten fingers were strengthened and knocking on the leg from knee down with good rhythm.

Need to stop, so walked on the lawn for a while, then get ready for work.

Went to Tiger Head Dam by myself. I've been there before and would like to experience the bare foot walking on the soil and the interaction with the tree again. Spent total of five hours there today. Walk, read, practice.. Quite a good day. Leaned on the tree twice and always find the area where I can massage the spine area for a total of almost 30 minutes. It hurt but felt so good afterwards. Making big circles and small circles, banging the chest with fist hard, etc. I'll go to the elemenetary nearby tomorrow to find the big trees again.

The nose allergy bothered me for the whole day. I was glad that I didn’t bring the medicine with me. It was not that bad, but got worse when I went swimming and after I got home. The hair dryer didn’t help much and after 10 hours of suffer, I took the medicine. Sometimes I think I spent too much time feeling or worrying about the pain of the body.

Had cramp on my left toes during swimming. Let myself go into the qi gong status. It helped.

Kind of jealous about people practicing together.

Went to an elementary school close to home. Tried to find big trees. It was kind of disappointed in the beginning. Almost all field is covered with man made materials. The trees are confined in small areas. The most common trees are 榕樹 and it is not good. Took my shoes off in a small dirt area and I was led to the back of the butterfly garden. Amazingly, there are some trees there. Massage the spine again and walked around the garden later on. I am still not comfortable of doing it outside. Kind of worrying people will think I am crazy. Stopped in the 雙槓 area and started to massage the lower back, right beneath the waist. The height is just right for me. Then saw a tilted tree. I think I can sit on it, really like to try. I had this in my mind and then was sitting on it. My leg was only few inches above the ground, it’s not dangerous. Just want to have the experience to be in one with the tree.

It turned out to be a great place. I’ll come again.

Always have the swollen feeling on the fingers and rifht knee after waking up in the morning. It feels like the qi is accumulated there. Tried to go into the qi gong status and have the mind of let go of the qi.. it worked.

Went to the elementary school again. Leaned on the tree for quite a while. Press hard on the wounded left toe. Boy, it hurt. Walked to the parallel bars again and mainly using the side part to massage the lower back. It really hurt but was too good afterwards to stop it.

The blue sky is beautiful today. All day long. Took a nap outside and practiced at the same time. I always have strong qi feeling on hands and feet while lying down.

Mainly went swimming in the mornings this week and thus did not practice. Lots of old problems came out. Guess I need to practice more. Went to the yard right away and practiced for ~20 minutes right after got home. I'll skip the swimming tomorrow and will practice tonight and tomorrow morning. Boy, it sure takes lots of time.

Need to practice how to slow down in daily work, so that I will not have the pain on the back built up too fast.. Always remind myself to calm down. Instead of doing too many things and moving too fast, do less and slower.

Maybe I can try to work and practice the qi gong at the same time?

Never seen this website with so many visitors and so many diaries written before. I can never locate my diary directly from the front page now. This is sure the glorious time and wish it will continue!!

Went to the yard right away after got home these days to try to cure the back pain. It is almost like someone doing the massage for me by the natural contraction on the back while walking around. The sky is very clear and can see the stars during the practice. Then went back to the house and lying on the floor to feel the qi moving in the legs.

Went to BaoLai for a two days trip from the new year eve. We had quite a good time last year. But the trip this year was kind of sad. This is the road where it was hit hard by the flood. The hot spring area and KTV room of that hotel were flushed away. We walked around the junior high and found it is surrounded by beautiful mountains. So I went there again the second morning and did some practice by the big trees for about half an hour. Other than the walking, did the meditation for a while. Went back to the hotel with a fresh feeling.

We went further down the road to 桃源鄉 and 三民 the second day. The road got worse and worse. Many bridges were still under temporary condition. My son wanted to get 319鄉 stamps. Passed through 小林村 Where a whole village with some 300 people were buried. The road is completely different now. Many times we were riding along the newly paved road along the creek. There was a monument set to memorize the deceased. Many of their relatives came to baibai. One village was like a ghost town. The houses were so badly damaged. Tunnels half filled with the mud, we can tell some area from the cement left from the bridges or roads.. My son made many calls where suppose to provide the stamps for the visitors, but many did not answer or said the store was gone with the water or not in business any more. We finally use the big stamp of the police office.

Used 按摩棒 purchased in Yoga class in this long car ride.
Compare to the people there, we are lucky.. we should cherish what we have and be thankful.

Ate too much and didn't practice enough, plus it's so cold so my nose allergy is causing the trouble again.

Can't really concentrating in doing things actually. It's quite unusual to have all the families together, I always running around and trying to do something.

Got an ideal from looking at 不一法師's video while taking a long ride in the car -lean on the massage rod on the back and pressing on the hard spots.

Will take a trip to 北橫 for three days with the hiking group and plan to have a good idea exchange with our two sons since we'll be forced to stick together for the whole time without the interference from the internet. Everyone has a laptop in front while at home, even sitting outside on the picnic table!! Hope the weather will not be too bad. We don't really want to go.. haha

The three days in 北橫 is wet and cold. However, we got to see many beautiful cloud sea. Guess I am not fully recovered from the surgery yet. My leg hurt a lot after few hours of walking. I was wearing the heavy hiking boots and my right knee hurt a lot. Did the practice in the hotel almost all night so that I can keep walking on the next day. The hike to 東眼山 was especially tough for me. We didn't count the time right and spent too much time on the way up. After seeing Taipei 101 from the mountain top, found out there was only one hour left to return to the parking lot. Unlike other people, walking down is more difficult for me than going up. The slippery wooden walkway makes it more difficult for me. My husband had to hold up my right arm to keep me going since my right leg got too tired and lost the strength.

All I did at nights and today is practice. The actions sometimes are quite violent. The 十指功 working on my head, on leg is very powerful. Thank to this gong, I am almost ready to get back to work tomorrow. Don't know what I will do without knowing this wonderful gong.

I am not sure if it was because I am lazy, tended to sit on the chair outside a lot during practice. I am sure it looks like I was sitting there taking a nap.. but I did feel the qi moving on the feet. Needed to go to the restroom, so I stood up and found the ground was wet. Was it because I was walking on the lawn.. Tried again and sitting on the chair.. checked after 10 min.. it was wet again.. something really went on!!

Walk a lot on the lawn, but always with eyes wide opening and looking around. Once I close the eyes, the movement will get smaller and with different actions. I should close the eyes more often. I am sure it is more effective this way.

久久後,去摸摸還是留有餘溫。

It’s been a while since I last wrote the diary. I was occupied by the pomelo flower festival in Madou area. Either performing or attending the concerts during the weekends.

A hairdryer is frequently used in the office and sometimes use the long stick不一法師 introduced to ease the pain in the back. But I think the best way is still the practice of the self developed gong. The nose allergy problem is been very bad this year.
Need to spend more time practicing if possible.

Usually sit down on the ground after walking around the house for a while. I can’t cross my legs, so it’s always 散盤. Did the same thing today, but was trying to pull the left leg higher up. Slipped away.. massage the thigh, leg.. cross the leg again.. better this time, but still slipped away after a while, repeat the massage and cross the leg.. it’s so funny and so convenient. This teacher knows when to show up.

People might think I was just lazy but I was actually practicing. :)

Sat on the picknic chair with clear mind after walked for a while. I had my eyes closed and tried to feel the qi and the breathing. The ground where my foot landed was a little bit wet afterwards. this is the most benefical way of practice for lazy bum. It sure works fine.. I did feel good afterwards. But that was not my will. I did not intend to sit down.

Ran into the house to be away from the mosquitos.
Lay on the floor and started the massage again.. wonderful.

滾按背部筋骨, 手臂酸痛處加上五爪功按摩臉部眼睛等. 比被別人按摩還舒服. 前滾後滾好像是滾舞.

Came back from the two days Turtle Island trip. Had to get up at 4 am for two continuous days and long hours sitting in the bus. The walking along the nother eastern coast was not too tiring but it took me more than two days to recover afterwards. I took one day off and mainly want to practice to recover. The knee area of the right leg is soring and couldn't be bent freely.

Sat on the grass and lifted my right leg high, then tossed it down many times. Finally felt better. But I got headache again after three continuous meetings in a row. The body condition is getting worse.
